Nothing adds more beauty and comfort to our homes and offices than the lush foliage of indoor plants. Bringing plants into our homes is aesthetically pleasing and - amazingly - plants offer strong and proven health benefits.
Outdoor activities like forest bathing and river dips are shown to improve levels of stress and anxiety. Personally, I've always been grounded by nature, and as a child, you would have found me in the forest, building a "treehouse" or hobbit cabin with items that I rummaged from the neighbourhood with my handy wagon.
Over the last several years, and through the course of the 2020-2022 pandemic, my personal plant collection has grown tremendously. In retrospect, I think it's been a way of protecting my own mental health, and managing the anxieties of motherhood during such an unfamiliar time.
